When Should I Schedule My Session?

Our open dates tend to fill up fast, so try to schedule your session as early as possible. Since we are usually busy with weddings on weekends, if it is in the summer months, we have to shoot bridal sessions Monday through Friday evenings, starting a few hours before sunset. If you want a bridal portrait at your reception remember to order early, canvas prints takes at least 2-3 weeks to print. Try to avoid the hottest and coldest months of the year though, you will be uncomfortable in your dress. Shooting in mid-June or mid-January isn't usually the best idea. Fall and spring sessions are the BEST!

Why Should I Book? What Should I Expect?

Bridal Sessions are great! They are especially great if it is impossible to get an engagement session with your fiance. If you have a bridal session at least you are comfortable with me in front of the camera before your wedding day. They are also great because every bride wants a lot of pictures of her looking beautiful. (I mean, come on, everyone knows it's 75% the brides day right? oh wait, maybe it's just girls that want to believe that!) It provides a time for us to get a lot of photos of you, the bride, looking beautiful without having to take too much time out of the actual wedding day. Plus, you groom will look all the photos to look at in years to come.

What Should I Wear? What Should I Bring?

Of course, you will wear your dress! But props are GREAT for bridal sessions to spice it up some. Definitely, bring flowers, lots of them if you want. Hands can look awkard if you don't have something to hold on to, so flowers are a must! Bring different kids of veils too if you want. Bring a long one for some fun shots, bring a bird cage veil for a vintage splash, bring anything you want and that fits your personality! Hats are fun too if you want to bring some along for a splash of color. Another great prop is some kind of umbrella or parasol, they definitely add personality. Also, this is a great time to test out your makeup and hair stylist. Make sure to get a professional for this session too, you definitely want to look your best! Be creative, and think about what your style is and bring something along that fits it!

How Long Until I See My Photos

Your photos will be posted online within two - four weeks of your bridal session. We will send you a link to a password-protected gallery that you can forward to all of your friends and family! We will only select one photo for you sneak peak that doesn't how your dress (it's a secret) or is password protected on the blog. After the wedding we will select a few favorites and post them on our blog and facebook. If you are our friend on facebook (if not we can always add you!) we will tag you in them, for you to use are your profile picture too!

How Long Does a Guestbook or Canvas Take?

Guestbooks are custom designed and printed. They require at least 3 weeks to be designed and printed, so do not wait until the last minute! If you decide to purchase one, let us know as soon as possible. Canvas prints also take between 1-3 weeks, so make sure to order them early too.
