Since we have been focused on the contests to celebrate our new branding we have not been able to officially blog and introduce everything! For the past 6-7 months we have been working with the amazing Amy Grace of Candy Apple Studios for this new brand. We knew when we got in engaged last April that we had to rename the business to something. We had been wanting to rebrand to not just be “Heathers” but to be ours, since I (Walter) have been working from the beginning. (I just never got credit for it.) So we spent the next few months brainstorming ideas, names, and everything with friends. We settled on The Burks as our name. We loved it. However, the domain was already taken. That’s when someone suggested why not meettheburks.com, we thought it was awesome. So that’s why our name is The Burks and you have to come to our website to “meet us”.
This website was a co-collaboration between Amy & Heather. Amy did all the designs & Heather spent months coding it. (Needless to say Heather isn’t a webdesigner but she did an awesome job.) We wanted to have our blog & site in one because it’s more consistent and less confusing. We also have a new watermark that is a lot less busy for all our photos.We hope you love it!
We also have been working on tons of marketing Usersprojects and still are working on them & getting them printed. We wanted to show off some of the stuff we had right now, and we will show off more as we receive it.
First, we wanted to show off our beautiful new glossy business cards. They are really nice & we can’t wait to start handing them out.
Amy did a wonderful job designing our wedding thank you cards for our new brides to give them.
She also designed us amazing stickers for our packaging that we are working on putting together.
We also have stamps to go on our packaging & envelopes.
Amy also designed us some amazing T-shirts, that you might have already seen that we gave away in our comment contest. If you want one of these amazing t-shirts, we will be selling them. So email us if you want one!
Last we got some beautiful embroidered hats. We gave some of these away as well & will be selling them. Email us if you want one!
